TITAS 2007 – Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show
General Information
Following its overwhelming success in the previous year, the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show - TITAS 2007 - unfolds on Oct 3rd, 2006. This year/ theme follows up on 2006/ successful concept of F4 from Fibers to Fabrics for Fashion plus Functions, showcasing the functional and fashionable features of the high added-value middle and upstream yarn and fabric products in Taiwan that reflect the innovation and originality of Taiwan/ textile industry.In TITAS 2005, the attending number of buyers and manufacturers reached an all time high 16,703, with 268 exhibitors in 513 booths, an increase of 18% from the previous year. Participantspositive feedbacks reflected the successful transformation of Taiwan/ textile industry and its readiness to be Asia/ new center for textile-related procurement. TITAS 2007 has invited leading producers of fiber, yarn and fabric to display advanced products made from creative materials such as bamboo charcoal, corn, soybeans and metal, as well as high-tech functional products including waterproof textiles, air-permeable textiles, heat-accumulating textiles and high-fashion textiles. Concurrent with the exhibition, TITAS 2007 will invite textile experts from all over the world to deliver lectures at seminars. The exciting agenda will surely energize the industry/ creativity and facilitate more business opportunities.
